About the Event

Scheduled from 03 to 05 November 2025 at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (Ibn Zohr University, Agadir), CIGSIDA is a major international symposium bringing together experts, researchers, decision-makers from local municipalities, political decision-makers, entrepreneurs and civil society actors to discuss the contemporary challenges of security governance and sustainable development in Africa. In a context of globalization, challenges in security, economic development and resource management require a multidimensional approach, integrating new technologies, innovative governance practices, and regional cooperation
The GSIDA 2025 International Conference is intended to be an open and interdisciplinary platform for reflection, bringing together experts from multiple academic and professional backgrounds. By mobilizing skills from the social, legal, economic, political, technological, environmental, cultural and sports sciences, it promotes an integrative approach to analyze the challenges of security governance, innovation and development. This disciplinary diversity guarantees a rich and plural debate, conducive to the development of solutions adapted to contemporary issues.

  • Prepare a security governance framework for major sporting events (AFCON 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2030), strengthening coordination between public, private, and community stakeholders.
